Sundays are for Brunch: Brunch Outfit Ideas
Sundays remind me of brunch with your girlfriends at a really good local spot. Or with your girl cousins and aunts. Actually, that’s exactly what Sundays usually make me think of; that and going to church in the mornings. Drinking Mimosas and just having a good time bonding with your girl pals. I think Sundays are an important to refresh, renew, and reset and to spend quality time at church and then going for brunch, if possible. And it is ok if you do not want to miss church in the mornings. You can always go to church in the afternoons or opt for an at home prayer time and service.
There is actually a good spot for brunch here in Georgia and it is located in Downtown Decatur. I do not think they have Mimosas but, they have some really good pancakes. The place is called Melissa’s and it’s right on the Square in Downtown Decatur. I think that is the number one place I think of having a good brunch other than at my sister’s house where she makes Mimosas for us. Baby, if Sundays are for brunch, Melissa’s in Downtown Decatur is where you will find me.
With that said, I started thinking of outfit ideas for a Sunday brunch outing with your girlfriends. What kind of outfits and jewelry are good options for brunch with girlfriends or with your girl family members, cousins and aunts included on a Sunday. Hey, I would even include grandmas in there because grandmas can be hip and fun.
So, here are my top three picks for outfits that I would wear to brunch with my girlfriends.
I really like the Fancy Brunch one and I would totally rock it even though it may be a bit more on the fancy side. For the More Casual look, I would probably choose a different style of jeans. Maybe a darker wash. But I would still very much rock that outfit. For the Dressy Style, I actually like it just the way that it is, truly.
For these styles, I would pair them with some flats for comfort and elegant style. And I would pair it with some elegant yet simple jewelry pieces. An example of a piece of jewelry that I would wear with these outfits is provided below. Something simple yet elegant at the same time. Something that can go with a casual look and also a more dressed up look as well.
I would probably wear a simple and natural look for my makeup, too. Nothing too fancy or glamorous. I would most likely not even wear lashes or do anything too crazy. I probably would not even do a red lipstick or anything. Maybe a nice, tinted CC cream with SPF and lip gloss. I would definitely do mascara, as well. But nothing too extravagant.
